Judith Gail Jenks

Judith “Gail” Jenks, 84, of Niskayuna, New York, peacefully entered into the presence of her Lord on Monday, January 13th, 2025. Born in 1940, Gail was a dedicated and passionate individual who left a lasting impression on all those around her.

Gail spent over 30 years working in the New York State Assembly, where she served under Speaker Stanley Fink, before transitioning to the New York State Senate. Her work was a source of immense pride as she was known for her dedication and professionalism.

In her personal life, Gail was an avid traveler and enjoyed the thrill of going to casinos. Above all, though, she cherished her time with family. She was a loving mother to her daughter Robin Leigh Marilla and a super proud grandmother to Kristina Ashleigh Marilla. Gail will be remembered by her sisters, Beverly Barosi and Joyce Cassidy. She was predeceased by her mother, Dorothy Dunn, and her beloved daughter Pamela Angel Jenks and is survived by her former husband John Jenks.

Gail’s kindness, strength and unwavering love for her family will be profoundly missed by everyone whose lives she touched.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Monday, January 20th, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, NY 12205. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM.
