Judith A. "Judy" Sheridan
1946 - 2020
SCHENECTADY - Judith Ann Kessler Sheridan, 74, went home to heaven on December 8, 2020 at the Schenectady Center. Born in Albany on September 11, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Dorothy (Decker) Kessler.
Judy was married for 33 years to the love of her life, the late Robert Sheridan.
Judy is survived by her two children Robin Tibbitts (David) and Rebecca Sheridan. Grandchildren; Alexis, Melissa and Elizabeth. Judy is the sister of
William (the late Mary Ann) Kessler, Kenneth Kessler, Rose (the late Rick) Mochrie and Sharon (the late Rocky) Rockenstyre. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by her siblings, Annie, Marjorie Kessler Golembieski and Robert Kessler.
Judy enjoyed gardening and bingo but above all she loved her family. Judy worked for over 20 years at SUNY Albany in the facilities department before retiring in 2014.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the Schenectady Center for all of their care and support.
Funeral services will be private at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady RD Watervliet, NY 12189. Interment will be in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
