Julia M. Hardmeyer

ALBANY - Julia M. (Lupo) Hardmeyer, 89, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Kingsway Manor in Schenectady.
Julia was born on September 12, 1922 in Albany and was the daughter of the late James and Angela (DeMotta) Lupo. She was a registered nurse and case worker for Albany County Department of Social Services. She enjoyed Reading, knitting and the NY Yankees.
Julia is survived by her loving children, Margaret McDermott, Paul (Donna) Hardmeyer, Patricia Hardmeyer and Julie Hardmeyer; her grandchildren, Mark (Debra) McDermott, Michael (Hannah) McDermott, Brian (Sophie) McDermott, Rebecca McDermott, Shannon McDermott, and Zachary Hardmeyer; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Emily, Kyle, Conner, Mackenzie, Colin and Abby McDermott. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Hardmeyer; and her siblings, Rose, Victoria, Joseph, John and Vincent Lupo, and Catherine Orsini.
Special thanks from the family to all the people at Kingsway Assisted Living for their loving care, and thanks to all the hospice workers for the comfort and care they provided.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
