COLONIE – Julian "Jay" A. Gould, 66, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at St. Peter's Hospital.
Jay was born on June 17, 1943 in Albany and is the son of Monty Gould and the late Mary (Galluzzo) Gould. He worked at Dime Savings (now Citizens Bank) for over 20 years before retiring as a vault clerk. After retiring he worked as a pharmacy clerk for CVS in Albany for several years.
In addition to his father, Jay is survived by his sister, Debra E. Johnson of Colonie; his niece, Christine M. (Vincent) Santandrea of Malta; his nephew, Nick M. Johnson of Colonie and several cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Chapel, 303 Sand Creek Rd., Colonie. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
A calling hour will be held prior to the service at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.) on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Julian "Jay" A. Gould.
