Juliette Noriega

ALBANY, NY – Juliette Noriega, passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 7, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Albany for over twenty years. Juliette graduated from Russell Sage College with her second Bachelor's Degree. She worked as a registered nurse for many years before retiring. Juliette enjoyed gardening and was a member of Community Gardens. She loved animals, especially cats and dogs and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Ruth Gordon. She is the grandmother of Arvilla, Conrad, Dorean, Mark, LuNeil and Laverne. She is the great-grandmother of Jamilla, Josephine, Jeremiah, Jahshire, Markia, Xavier, Yvonne, Jaquar, Quaneisha, Kamara, Latoya, LuNeil, Lenai, Lemiah, Lavar, Shatema, Andre, Drequan, Daevon, Darrell, Andre, Belinda and Daniel. Also surviving are two great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Juliette's family would like to thank all of Juliette's caretakers especially, Victoria, Michelle, Susan, Brenda, Misty, Ava, Josie, Kamysha, Beverly and Sue.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 12:00 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will precede the service from 10:00 to 12:00 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery.
