June C. Galusha

COLONIE – June C. Galusha, 86, of Penn Yan for the past 1 1/2 years and formerly of Colonie, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2011 at the Homestead Nursing Home in Penn Yan.
June was born on May 28, 1925 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Harry and Susan (Koonz) Galusha. She was the vice president and treasurer for the Boyd Printing Company for 42 years. She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Schenectady. She enjoyed crocheting, the Adirondacks, traveling, outdoors – especially her camp in Speculator, NY. She had also traveled to 49 of the 50 States.
June is the aunt of Susan (Brent) Beltran of Waterloo, NY and Nancy (Jerry) Repak of Wake Forest, NC; great-aunt of Katherine and Sebastian Beltran of Waterloo, NY and Nicholas and Michele Repak of Wake Forest, NC. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Galusha of Lady Lake, FL and her cousins, John Nottke, Karen Cornell, Robert Galusha, and Albert Sagendorf. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Galusha.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will precede the service from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Interment, Memory Gardens, Colonie.
