June Ann Clingerman

COLONIE- June A. (Murray) Clingerman, wife of Robert Clingerman, passed away on September 4, 2022.

She was born October 6, 1932 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Helen and John Murray. She was also predeceased by her siblings: Mary (Paul) Derr, Jack (Charlene) Murray and Joseph "Bud" (Shirley) Murray.

June attended Catholic Central High School in Springfield, OH and moved to Albany in 1965 with her husband Robert.

June worked for 25 years at Sears, Roebuck & Co. at Colonie Center in their offices.

She loved to go on vacation with her card buddies (women in the neighborhood), loved taking her grandchildren on vacation every summer and was known as "the walker" in the Village of Colonie. She never missed a sporting event in which her children and grandchildren participated. She loved attending local high school and college sporting events with her friends. She loved being GG to her great grandson. He could make her laugh so hard.

June is survived by her husband of 67 years, Robert Clingerman; children: Steve Clingerman, Latham, Lisa Seychel, Guilderland and Teresa Vanterpool, Colonie; grandchildren: Jamell (Sara) Vanterpool, Ottawa, and Jasmine Vanterpool, Albany; great grandchild (GG to) Isaiah Vanterpool, Ottawa; siblings: Helen Hankel, Ohio, Rita (Bob) Everhart, Illinois and Patricia Murray, Montana. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Tuesday September 13, 2022 from 4 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205. All are invited to attend her funeral service following at 7 p.m. Interment will be private at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
