Colonie- June D. Vrahnos, 94, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Daughters of Sarah Nursing Home, on Monday, November 23, 2015.
June was born on April 20, 1921, in Portland, ME, to the late Ambrose and Lila Coffen. June was married to the late Joseph G. Vrahnos on June 22, 1941. They were married for 63 years. Together they had two children. June was a dedicated Avon representative for over 40 years.
June is predeceased by her brother, Eugene L. Coffen.
She is survived by her children; Michael F. (Beverley) Vrahnos, and Nancy G. (Barry) Verenini, her grandchildren; Michael (Claudia), Charles (Michelle), Melissa (Edward), and Mike (Leah), and five great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, from 11:00am- 12:00pm with a service to immediately follow.
Donations may be made in June's name to Greater Albany SDA Church, 298 St Agnes Hwy Cohoes, NY 12047-3926.
