DELMAR- June Davis, 81, formerly of Schenectady, returned to the Lord on November 30, 2009.
A longtime Schenectady resident , June was the daughter of the late Warren and Elizabeth Ulrich Davis. She loved animals and she will be dearly missed by her family and beloved friends. June was predeceased by her sons, Daniel Roosevelt and Jack Williams, her siblings, Raymond Davis, Milton Davis and Wanda Roosevelt.
She is survived by her daughter Patty Davis-Corsi and her husband Lou of Delmar; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Anthony Ottaviani and her great grandson Nicholas Reyes.
We wish to extend our thanks and sincere gratitude to the compassionate staff at Good Samaritan Nursing Home for the remarkable care they gave to June.
Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 1:00 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie. Calling hours will be Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Parkview Cemetery, Schenectady. Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia, NY 12302 in memory of June Davis.
