Cohoes - June G. Ford, 83, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021, with her loving family by her side. June was the devoted wife to the late Leon Ford. They were happily married for 63 years.
June was the loving mother of Dorothy F. (Bill) Woltjen, Diane F. (Jerry) Abdelnour and Darlene L. Ford. Cherished grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Rose Tyler.
June was very involved with Calvary United Methodist Church and an active member of the Prime Timers Group.
A private family service for June will be held at 10 am, Friday, September 10th at Calvary United Methodist Church, 15 Ridge Pl, Latham, NY 12110. Masks are required when attending the service at church. Entombment will take place privately in Memory Gardens, Colonie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd, Rensselaer, NY 12144 or Building on Love, Inc., 244 N. Mohawk St., Cohoes, NY 12047 or Calvary United Methodist Church, 15 Ridge Place, Latham, NY 12110.
