SCHENECTADY – June G. Corrigan, 85, passed away Wednesday, December 1st, at Ellis Hospital. Born in Hazleton, PA, June was the only child of Wilford F. and Margaret Mary (Matto) Lenhardt, Jr.
June enjoyed crossword puzzles, as well as writing poetry. Aside from caring for her cherished family, she was formerly employed by the Schenectady Gazette, Messiah Lutheran Church, and Goldstock's Sporting Goods.
June was the devoted wife of 66 years to Gilbert C. Corrigan, who predeceased her in 2009.
She is survived by her three sons; Richard F. (Diana) Corrigan, David P. (Gloria) Corrigan, and John R. (Roberta R.) Corrigan; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 at the Saratoga National VA Cemetery in Schuylerville.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Capital District Dialysis Center, Inc., 650 McClellan St, Schenectady, NY 12304 in June's name.
