June Hauffe

COLONIE, NY – June B. Hauffe, 81, died December 26, 2007 at St. Peter's Hospital after a long battle with heart and lung disease. Born in Alpena, Michigan she was the daughter of the late Captain and Mrs. William H. Booth. She was educated in Michigan and in her younger years held various office positions. When her children were born, she became a homemaker. June is survived by her husband of 62 years, Donald W. Hauffe. She is the mother of Susan (Thomas) Cusack, Charlotte Carson, Barbara (Michael) Tiscione and Junie (James) Hedgeman. In addition to her four daughters, June is commended for raising three additional children that were not her own. June is the grandmother of Donald and Christopher Cusack, Michael II, Katie and Mary Tiscione, Maria and Robert Carson, Jonathan and Candace Maye and Gerald Sackey, II. She is the sister of Jeanne Snowman of Tonawanda, NY. Many nieces and nephews also survive. June was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Special recognition and loving thanks to June's granddaughter, Maria Carson, who stayed with and cared for her everyday and night through a month long trial of suffering.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1911 Fairview Ave., Schenectady. Calling hours will be Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
