ROTTERDAM- June A. O'Connell, 60, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
June was born in Schenectady, NY to the late Raymond and Helen Fetter on June 6, 1956. On June 21, 1986 June married the love of her life, Daniel J. O'Connell. Together they had two children. June was a loyal employee to Schenectady School District for 18 years. June will be remembered for her love of karaoke with her husband, and of camping with her family. Together they were seasonal campers at Frosty Acre's Campground. Her passion in life was her family.
June is predeceased by her brothers, Mark Fetter, Raymond Fetter, and David Fetter.
June is survived by her loving husband, Daniel, her children, Valerie O'Connell, and Danny O'Connell, her grandchildren, Cody and Kayleigh, her siblings, Bill Fetter, Tammy Fetter, and Roy (Barbara) Fetter, her sister-in-law, Beverly Fetter, and host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, on Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 10:00am-12:00pm with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Vale Cemetery, Schenectady, NY.
