Guilderland – A month before her 100th birthday, God welcomed June McClellan to his eternal rest on Friday April 15, 2011.
June was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Raymond and Blanche Stiles and was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of Albany High School Class of 1929, raised a family and in later years worked as a book keeper in Colonie with Bunkoff Construction Co. June and her late husband, Donald K. McClellan, were both long time members of Pine Grove United Methodist Church in Colonie.
She is survived by her two sons Donald S. (Angelika) McClellan and David B. (Deborah) McClellan, grandchildren who she loved and enjoyed: Steven D. (Melissa) McClellan, Sr., Heather A. (James) Stephens, Christina L. McClellan and Kevin P. McClellan, great-grandchildren who were her delight: Mikayla L. McClellan, Ryan A. LaGurege, Stephen D. McClellan, Jr. and Alexia F. Stephens.
The funeral service will be Monday 11:30am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie. A period of visitation will precede the service Monday from 11:00 to 11:30am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
