GREENVILLE – K. Pauline Brink, 76, passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, surrounded by her loving family.
Pauline was born on June 13, 1937 in Easkey, County Sligo, Ireland and was the daughter of the late John and Hannah (Gordon) Forde. She owned and operated Lakeside Inn in East Durham, NY for over 30 years, before retiring in 1999. Pauline loved cooking for her family and friends, music, traveling, walking on the beach; but most especially spending time with her family.
Pauline is survived by her devoted husband of 35 years, Samuel Brink Jr.; her children, Desmond Connolly, Corinne (John) Schultz and Patricia (Brian) Hughes; her grandchildren, Daniel Connolly, Stephanie Schultz, Abigail Hughes and Ethan Hughes; her brother, Eugene Forde; her sister, Eileen Child and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Linda Dowling, Brody Forde, Jimmy Forde, Mary Levin, Tommy Forde, and Chrissy Hannon.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church, 4987 New York 81, Greenville, NY.
