Karen D. Templin

BALLSTON SPA – Karen D. Templin, 51, of Ballston Spa, passed away peacefully on Monday December 7, 2009 at the Inn of Community Hospice.
She was born in Little Falls and was the daughter of Tracey Smith and the late Bessie Smith. Karen was a graduate of SUNY @ Albany.
She had worked as the Director of Admissions and as a Certified Social Worker at the Teresian House in Albany for the past ten years.
Karen is survived by her husband Michael D. Templin; her sons, Michael J. Sellers, William R. Sellers and Sean M. Templin. She is the sister of Robert Smith, Brenda Wood, Tracey Mae Michaels and Brian Smith. Grandmother of Rebecca Sellers.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:00 at Teresian House. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
Memorial contributions may be made to Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave Ext. Albany, NY 12203 in memory of Karen D. Templin.
