West Lebanon_Karen E. Fink, 67, of passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at St. Peter's Hospice.
She was born on October 8, 1947 daughter of the late Paul and Theresa (Stafford) Cote.
Karen worked as a beautician and had owned her own salon, Karen's Cut and Curl in New Lebanon. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Karen will be remembered as a strong, courageous and outgoing woman who was full of life. She was a member of the Elks Lodge in Troy and the Ladies Auxiliary. Karen also LOVED playing bingo. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by those who had the privilege to know and love her.
She is survived by her children, Theresa E. Woodka, Donnajeanne (Tracy Faulhaber) Woodka, Eddie Woodka, grandchildren, William (Judith) Caul, Shawna (Trevor) Bixby, Brandon Caul, Crystal Woodka, great-grandchildren, Gene and William Caul, Emmaliyah J.Hernndez Otero and was patiently awaiting the arrival of another great- granddaughter Chloe Bixby, her sisters, Mary Edick, Dolores Little, her soul sister, Phyllis Hulbert and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Fink in July of this year and her sister Paula Jeanne Cote.
Friends are invited to call from 6 to 8pm on Tuesday, September, 8, 2015 at New Comer Funeral Home, Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Karen on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church with Rev. John Bradley officiating. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Albany, NY.
