Karen A. Marois-Spairana

Albany- Karen A. Marois-Spairana, 74, formerly of Troy, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, December 20, 2021. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Jean Marion Gregware-Marois and Joseph E. Marois.
Karen is survived by her three sons, John Cole Jr., James Cole (Amie) and Joshua Cole. Karen will also be missed by her sister Malinda Zwack (the late Joel). She is also survived by her nieces, Carolyn R. Reckner (Charles), Elesa M. Fletcher (the late Donald), Stephanie L. Snyder and her nephew Allan M. Barnum; great nieces, Arianna L. Mortensen, Kylie R. Reckner and Teagan A. Reckner, Shealynn Bull-Snyder, and great nephews Keith K. Barnum, Timothy Bull-Snyder, Stephen Parmenter and one great great niece, Cara L. Mortensen.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Mary Jo C. Bubie.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 9am-11am at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie, NY 12205. Burial will follow at St. John's Cemetery in Troy.
