Karen A. Rea

Albany- Karen A. (Kennelly) Rea, 70, with her loving family by her side passed away on July 5, 2024. Karen was born in Albany NY, to the late Donald and Ursuline (Betty) Kennelly.

Karen was a faithful employee at Albany Medical Center for 25 years. She enjoyed music, crosswords puzzles, game shows. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family. Karen had a unique personality, that would light up a room. Once you have met Karen, you will never forget her.

Karen is predeceased by her Husband Richard (Poppy) Rea. Five brothers, James, David, Donald, Robert, Daniel.

Karen is survived by her Three daughters, Shannon Rea, Joanna Rea, Marybeth Hahn. Grandchildren; Antonia, Breyanna, Jessica, Caitlyn, Makayla, Nakai, Jasmine, K’Mari, Na’Tori, Ariyon. Great-grandchildren; Riley, Bailey, Salem. A host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverside Nursing Home, for the loving care provided.
