Karen S. Gumport , 64, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 with her loving family by her side.
Karen was the daughter of the late James W. and Elizabeth J. (Henry) Richeson.
She was the devoted wife to the late David R.. Gumport. They were married 40 years.
Karen enjoyed spending time with her entire family and loved cooking for them, she was also a proud member of the Hudson Valley Fencing Assoc.
Karen is survived by her sister, Roxanne M. Richeson, brother, Lee E. Richeson, and her beloved cat Jazz.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Wednesday June 21, 2017 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday June 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Karen will be laid to rest in Greenville, beside her beloved husband.
