Karin Teller

Karin Helen Teller, 83, of Rotterdam NY went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20th surrounded by her loving family. Karin was born on February 7th 1931 to Anson and Helen Davenport in Niskayuna NY. Karin was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a Sunday School teacher and choir member at Trinity Reformed Church where she worshipped her Lord and Savior for 41 years. Karin loved people and always went out of her way to strike up a conversation with them, especially those she met at Bellevue Café where she and her husband dined regularly. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Ronald E. Teller, her daughter, Colleen (David) Carkner, her son Joseph (Kelly) Teller, her adoring grandchildren, David "DJ", Jacob (Molly), Joshua Carkner, Alex, Katherine Teller, her "adopted" daughters, Cathy Deuel, Denise Tuft-Holland, her "adopted" granddaughter, Jennifer Deuel, her brother Lawrence (Evelyn) Davenport, and several brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey D. Teller, and her brother, Henry Davenport. A memorial service officiated by Pastor Art Hudak will be held on Monday, August 25th at 10:00AM at Trinity Reformed Church, 705 Curry Rd, Rotterdam NY 12306. Internment will follow at Schenectady Memorial Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Karin's memory can be sent to Trinity Reformed Church.
