Karl Joseph Morlock, 72, died peacefully surrounded by his family on December 24, 2015. Born on April 7, 1943 in Albany, N.Y. to the late Joseph and Pauline (Rapp) Morlock. He is survived by his three loving children, Karen (Fred), Thomas (Heather), and Cathleen; the adoring grandfather of Thomas and James; brother of Norbert (Joan) and Regina (Bill). He was predeceased by his beautiful niece, Nancy.

Karl retired from the DMV in 2013. Previously he worked at Bruno Machinery and was the proud owner of "The Wurst Haus" in Albany. He enjoyed cars, Jeopardy, and day trips to the casinos. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and numerous friends. Karl had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Calling hours will be from 4-6 followed by a memorial service on Wednesday, December 30 at New Comer Funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Karl in a special way may make memorial contributions to the Ronald McDonald House, 139 S. Lake Ave., Albany, N.Y. 12208.
