Saratoga Springs- After a brief illness, Karyle S. Doe, 76, of Saratoga Springs, entered into the arms of the Lord on January 28, 2021 at Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home. Karyle was born on May 30, 1944, in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Jennie (Jean) I. Gross-Doe and Walter J. Doe, Sr. Karyle is also preceded in death by her brothers, Walter J. (the late Thomas Downey) Doe, Jr. of Ballston Spa, NY, and Gene T. (Paulette) Doe of Rio Verde, AZ.
Karyle was blessed with four children who are proud to call her Mom, David (Susan) Honsinger, III of Valparaiso, FL; Karyle S. Hills of Syracuse, NY;Michael (Barbara Brunelle) Honsinger and Laura (the late Douglas) Johnson, both of Saratoga. Her four grandchildren, Britney Johnson of Atlanta, GA; Andrew Hills, of Carthage, NY; David and Lily Honsinger of Valparaiso, FL, were a constant source of pride and joy.
Karyle had a love of numbers and worked as a bookkeeper for various companies and agencies throughout the Capital District area. But what Karyle did for a living was not who she was.
Karyle was many things to many people; she was exactly who you needed her to be exactly when you needed her to be there even if you didn't know you needed her. Karyle had a way of knowing when to listen, when to give advice, and when it was time to make you fly solo. Karyle was a quiet soul, with an amazing sense of humor that could melt even the hardest of hearts. Whether she was your family or your friend, your Bunkie or your Daisy , Karyle will be missed by all that knew her and loved forever.
