Katherine A. Lennon

Colonie- Katherine A. Lennon, beloved wife of the late Edmund G. Lennon, died on Thursday, August 17, 2006 at Schuyler Ridge Residential Health Care, Clifton Park. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Michael F. and Mary Felten. Katherine was employed by the Watervliet Arsenal, N.Y.S. Dept. of Motor Vehicles and the N.Y.S. Dept. of Taxation and Finance, retiring in 1978. She is predeceased by three brothers, Peter Doran, Francis Felten and Michael Felten and one sister Marie E. Jones.
Katherine is survived by a daughter Betty Jane Peabody and her husband Richard A. Peabody, Jr. of Clifton Park and two grandchildren Brendan R. and Aileen E. Peabody. She is also survived by several nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 26 Wilson Avenue, Colonie, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie. The Family has requested that no flowers be sent.
