Katherine L. Thames

Katherine L. Thames, 91, passed away peacefully on Thursday March 3, 2022 at the Teresian House, following a brief illness. She was born in Ballston Spa, NY, on May 8, 1930, the daughter of the late Henry and Viola O'Keefe.

She was predeceased by her brother, Lester O'Keefe and sisters Ellen Pearce, Grace Knapp and Del Teeling (William) and survived by numerous nieces and nephews on the O'Keefe side.

Katherine was married to the late Michael D'Alberto and is survived by their four children, Deborah Dominski, Michael A. D'Alberto, Albert D'Alberto and Doreen "Dody" Tibbitts (Robert). She was also blessed with eight grandchildren, Mark D'Alberto (Bethany), Erin Zielinski (Ryan), Christopher Robillard (Katrina), Brian Robillard (Michele), Sarah Amann (Nathan), Alyce D'Alberto, Cassandra Sachs (Jared), Michael P. Tibbitts; and six great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews on the D'Alberto side.

Katherine was a talented seamstress, first with her own business and working most recently for Ursula of Switzerland until she retired. Katherine's greatest joy was spending time with her family, all of whom will miss her dearly.

At her request, no memorial service is planned.

While the family is grateful for condolences, they ask that any donations be made in her name to Teresian House for their dedicated and compassionate staff.
