Kathleen A. Schmidbauer

COLONIE- Kathleen A. (Louzon) Schmidbauer, 43 of Colonie, entered into eternal life on Monday March 17, 2008 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Troy and is the daughter of John Louzon of Colonie and the late Irene Louzon. Kathy was a graduate of Colonie Central High School. She had worked at Harvest House Coffee Shop and Blockbuster Video prior to being a homemaker. Kathy loved gardening, animals, and sharing life with her beloved family and friends. Her biggest passion was to worship and serve her God.
Kathy is the beloved wife of James J. Schmidbauer. Devoted mother of Ashley L. Keller. Stepmother of Kelly and Daniel Schmidbauer. She is the sister of Susan P. (Patrick) Thompson of East Chatham and Mark Louzon of Colonie. Aunt of Airman 1st Class Patrick Thompson Jr. and Jacob Battista. She will be dearly missed by her devoted dog, Oreo.
Funeral services will be Friday morning 11:00 at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave). Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. At Kathy's request, memorial contributions are preferred to Harvest Church Building Fund, 303 Grooms Rd.
