BRAINARD, NY- Kathleen L. Boevin, 77, wife of William Boevin, passed away Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.

Born on December 23, 1946 in Austin, TX, she was the daughter of the late Preston and Mary Louise Vasbinder.
She worked as a legal assistant and accountant for multiple companies in the Albany, NY area, and was a loving mother, a loving grandmother, and an outstanding cook who loved being in the kitchen cooking both traditional and new recipes.
She is survived by her husband William, her son Travis and his wife Mary of Clifton Park, NY, her granddaughter Savannah of Clifton Park, NY, and her sister Ann Nelson of Austin, TX.
Family and friends may call at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY on Thursday, March 14th, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a service to follow at 12 p.m. A honorable burial ceremony will be held at Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, NY at 2 p.m.
