ALBANY – Kathleen Hurley Bojczuk, formerly of East Greenbush, died Saturday, June 3, 2006 at Teresian House Nursing Home. She was born in Albany on December 31, 1920 to James and Frances Hurley. Kathleen was a graduate of Albany High School and attended Brady Infant Nursing School. She was also a hostess for the USO during World War II. Kathleen was a loving mother and homemaker who loved and enjoyed caring for her family. Baking was her specialty. She also worked part-time for the New York State Tax Dept. Beloved wife of the late John Joseph Bojczuk, loving mother of Nancy (Mark) McMullen of Albany and Gerald Bojczuk of Albany, grandmother to Mark R., Ryan J., Jill Ann and Nora Catherine McMullen. She is the sister of Helen Scanlan and Beatrice Phelan, sister-in-law to Helen Puchyr, Lena Cason, Stella Wilkins and Anna Galliano. A heartfelt thank you is expressed to Teresian House, especially the staff of the 5th floor for all the loving care given to Kathleen. A celebration of Kathleen's life will be held at Teresian House Nursing Home on Wednesday June 7th at 11:00 a.m. where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont. Friends may call Tuesday, June 6th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave).
