LATHAM – Kathleen C. Bieniek, 67, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014 at Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home in Clifton Park.
Kathleen was born on March 6, 1947 in Albany and was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Mary A. Bober Bieniek. She was a baker for Hannaford in Colonie for over 18 years, prior to that she was a waitress for many years at Charlie's Northway Diner. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, crocheting, and knitting and loved playing her daily lotto numbers.
Kathleen is survived by her loving daughter, Lisa M. (Mark) Wood; her cherished grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Dustin and Carlee Wood; and her loving sister, Noreen A. Bieniek.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow calling hours at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie.
