Kathleen M. Dorn, 76, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 after a brief illness.
Kathy was the daughter of the late William C. and Frances (Russo) Dorn. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step father Charles L. Herrington
She was a member of several organizations and a communicant of Christ Our Light Catholic Church. She worked as a receptionist for Colonie Town Hall for over 25 years and loved every minute of it.
Kathy was also a proud member of the Joseph E. Zaloga American Legion Post.
She loved spending time with family and friends, singing, playing the piano and as many know, celebrating her birthday for an entire month.
Kathy is survived by her sister, Elaine (David) Best and Gail (Richard) Shoemaker. She is also survived by her beloved goddaughter Danielle Dean as well several nieces and nephews who she loved with all her heart. Kathy is also survived by her friend Elaine "a sister from another mother' and her devoted friend Joanne who was one of her biggest supporters.
Calling hours will be held at Christ Our Light Catholic Church, 1 Maria Drive, Loudonville, New York on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held 11:00 am at Christ Our Light Catholic Church. Entombment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie NY.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at Rosewood Rehabilitation Center for all their care and compassion given to Kathy during her short stay.
