Kathleen A. Willsey

ALBANY
Willsey, Kathleen Ann 87, of Albany, Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at home with family in the town of Colonie. Born in Albany, June 12, 1935. She was the Daughter of the late James and Lillian Kelly. She met the love of her life at 16 years of age the late George M. Willsey and married at the age of 18 for 64yrs. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. Kathleen worked for Childs Nursing Home, Albany Medical Center in Security and as a Certified Nursing Assistant for decades where she retired. She enjoyed and took pride in Caring for her patients. Kathleen was the middle child and proceeded her two siblings; sisters Dolores aka Dodo and younger sister Jeanie. Kathleen enjoyed her younger summers at the family's camp house in Nassau County. She enjoyed colorful flowers and spotting wildlife. Kathleen was very proud of her family and is survived by her Children Mary (Tom) Taber, Judy (William) Smith, Catherine (Joseph) Risti, Betty Willsey, George Willsey, Jimmy (Judy) Willsey, Barbra Guzman, Robert Willsey and Kathleen Stafford. 25 Grandchildren, 32 Great Grandchildren + 3 in the womb and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Call from 8:30am - 10am with services at 10am on Monday October 10, 2022, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. Burial will follow immediately in the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery.
