Kathryn M. Hoffman, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Albany County Nursing Home with her loving family by her side.
Kathryn was the daughter of the late Charles and Hazel (VanWie) Gott.
Kathryn was the devoted wife, of over 54 years to the late Kurt F. Hoffman.
Kathryn was a member and a communicant of Pine Grove United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading and doing her word search. She loved playing her piano and was a member of Albany Capital District Dachshund Club.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Gail Hoffman.
Kathryn is survived by her children, Debra (Jim) Tagliento, David K. (Jennifer) Hoffman. She is the adored grandmother of, Amanda and Matthew Garry, Sam (Stacey), Dan and Vince (Sarah) Tagliento, Sarah (Zeb) Fortune and Peter Hoffman. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, her sister Marion Tribley, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at Pine Grove United Methodist Church, 1580 Central Ave., Albany, New York on Saturday December 29, 2018 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday December 29, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Pine Grove United Methodist Church. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society Memorial Processing Center 6725 Lyons St., East Syracuse, NY 13057-0007, please reference to Multiple Myeloma in the memo line of your donation.
