Kathryn O'Gorman

Kathryn O'Gorman, age 79, formerly of Glen Rock, New Jersey passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on September 22nd, 2021, after a short battle with cancer.
Kathy was born in Brooklyn, New York to Edwin Murphy and Helen Murphy (Starkey). In addition to her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her beloved husband of 36 years, William, her loving son, Patrick and her dear brother, Edwin Murphy. She is survived by her devoted daughters – Deirdre Noble (Matthew) and Anne Bette (Christopher). She was the proud grandmother of AJ Bette, Julia Bette, and Archer O'Gorman.
Kathy began her career in finance at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York and worked in various financial service positions thereafter until her retirement from Washington Mutual Bank in 1999. Upon her retirement, Kathy and her husband Bill moved to Whiting, New Jersey. Kathy most recently moved to Latham, New York in 2018 to be closer to her grandchildren.
Deirdre and Anne wish to thank their loving family and friends for all their prayers and support with a special thank you to St. Peter's Hospice Inn in Albany, New York for their tender care, making Kathy comfortable in her final weeks.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 27th, 2021, at 11am at St. Catharine's RC Church in Glen Rock, New Jersey with interment to follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus, New Jersey.
