Kathy Marie Humphrey

Delanson- Kathy Marie Humphrey, 64, was called home to glory by her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October, 19, 2022. Kathy was the daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Kreitzer) Josef.
Kathy graduated from Duanesburg Central School in 1976 and attended Ellis Nursing School earning her LPN. She was employed for the past 20+ years at St. Peter's Surgery Center as their Materials Manager. Prior to that, Kathy worked as an O.R surgery tech at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, NY, as a technician at Albay Med in the GI Unit, and as a nurse at a private GI practice in Schenectady, NY, all while being a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. Kathy had a servant's heart and joyfully shared the love of her Savior with whoever she had opportunity. She enjoyed creating spaces of hospitality in her home, church, workplace and even the car shows she and Kirk so enjoyed attending.
Kathy is survived by: her husband Kirk D. Humphrey; daughter Elizabeth (Josh) Brandon and grandchildren Adaline, Dawson, and Andrea; her son Gregory Humphrey; brother Michael D. (Cathy) Josef and nephews Jason and Joshua; her close cousin Diane (Albert) Fidler and numerous other cousins.
A memorial for Kathy will be held on Nov 12, 2022 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 9 Trinity Place, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Family visitation will start at 10:00 am, service at 11:00 am, and a light luncheon to follow. Interment will be on a date to be determined for family and close friends.
