Katrina Lewis

Katrina Lewis, 44, passed away suddenly Thursday, April 1, 2021.

Born August 12, 1976 in Troy, New York, Katrina was the daughter of Diana Gallo and the late Lawrence Lewis. She received her education in the Troy School District and was a graduate of Troy High School. Most of her life, Katrina was a caregiver to her family and many others, as this also became her work. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, affectionately known as her "Diamond Friends." Katrina was beautiful, strong, proud and vibrant and the life of the party. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and going to the casino, but most of all she enjoyed her and adored her son and her grandchildren and spending time with them. They were her world.

Katrina is survived by her son, Elijah Gamble (Mikaela McDonald), her grandchildren, Emma, Elijah Jr., Ella and Arya; her sisters and brothers - Juanita Lewis, Antonio (Joy) Gallo, Miles Lewis, Floyd Sousis, Diana-Q. Williams, Promelia Forette; her nieces and nephews - Tahnysha Smith, Rayvion Burt, Sanaiya Adams, Marc Adams Jr., Jahmel Tarver, Joshua Lewis, Miles Lewis Jr., Bryson Lewis, Noah Kodadar, Elijah Lewis, Mateak Lewis, Dixie Bruni and Promelia Bruni; and close friends, Eddie Gamble and Jesse Thorton.

Katrina is predeceased by her sister Angelica Lewis and nephew Jahmeer Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Katrina's memory to her grandchildren in C/O New Comer Cremations & Funerals.
