ALBANY – Kaylena Zhane Wall-Carty was a special gift given to us on August 6, 2004. We may not understand it but God decided it was time for his little angel to come home and be with him. In the twilight hour of the morning on April 11, 2005, he sent his special angel to guide her safely home.
Kaylena Zhane was only with us a short time but she brought so much love and enjoyment into each of our lives. Although, all of her life was spent in St. Peter's Hospital in Albany and The Children's Hospital of Boston, she was still a joy and a delight to all those who came in contact with her. She was the light of her parents' eye and her brother Kenan just loved her and was anxiously awaiting her arrival at home.
Kaylena Zhane leaves to cherish her memories; her parents, Shannelle DiLillo and Derek Wall-Carty; brother, Kenan Cooper; maternal grandparents, John and Linda DiLillo; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Karen Winslow and George M. Carty Jr.; paternal great grandmother, Lelar Winslow; 3 aunts, Stacey Maldonado, Heather DiLillo and Allison Wall-Carty; 2 uncles, Sean Wall-Carty and John DiLillo 3rd. She is also survived by 2 great aunts, 3 great uncles, 3 great great aunts, 2 great great uncles and numerous cousins and other relatives.
