Keith G. Jones, 59 ,of Latham, NY, passed away January 27th, 2024, after a short battle with cancer.
Born November 14th, 1964, in Schenectady, NY he was the son of the late Freida Payne and Elba Jones.
Keith attended Mount Pleasant High School and was in the graduating class of 1982. Keith was an outstanding basketball player throughout his high schools years. The team often referred to him as "Larry" due to his ability to shoot, just like his idol "Larry Bird". He further went on to attend Siena College where he graduated in 1986. He later worked as a manager for Sears for over 2 decades. For the past 5 years, Keith demonstrated hard work and determination throughout his job at Bobs Discount Furniture in Latham, NY. He strived on being the best and won several awards for "The Best of Bobs". He loved what he did and enjoyed building relationships with his clients. In his spare time, Keith loved to hang out with his family, attend and watch sports games, and spend the day at the Saratoga Race Track.
He is survived by his two sons, Dylan (Talia) and Brandon Jones; his grandson, Mason and his former wife, Erin Somerville. He will be missed by his cat, Molly.
