Keith M. Myers

ALBANY - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Keith Myers, 52, who left us on October 10, 2024, due to complications from Type I Diabetes.

He was born in Colonie to Jacob (Jack) Myers and the late Jacqueline Myers. He graduated from South Colonie School. Keith was an avid skier in his youth and enjoyed the mountains of Wyoming and Montana. He loved being in the woods hunting and enjoyed venison meals that he prepared.

Keith will be remembered most for his love of “cowboy” life and his passion for horses and even bull riding. Keith also loved his dogs. He loved his only child Starr and was proud to be a grandfather.

Keith has now gone onto his heavenly home to be reunited with his grandmother Audrey, his mother Jackie, and his sister Renee Stratton, who predeceased him.

Keith is survived by his father Jacob Myers, brother Mark Myers, daughter Starr Myers and two grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the Colonie EMS and Albany Med ICU staff for their care provided to Keith.

Visitation will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00 pm with a celebration of life to immediately follow at 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
