A beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, Kellie Marie Rokjer left this world unexpectedly on June 19th, 2021.
Kellie was born in Saratoga Springs, NY on March 26, 1978 to Nancy and Mark Rokjer. She grew up in Saratoga Springs, where she attended Caroline Street elementary school and Saratoga Springs high school, graduating in 1997. Kellie continued her education at Adirondack Community College, earning a degree in liberal arts. Kellie went on to start her own successful cleaning business, working closely along side Nancy, her mom and business partner.
Kellie was an avid animal lover, rescuing every type of animal she could, including her famous pet duck. Kellie was kind, loving and generous. She had a vivacious, bubbly personality, an infectious smile and a genuine spirit.
When thinking about Kellie, she would want us to celebrate the good memories we have of her. The loss of her reminds us that life is fragile, short and should be lived to the fullest.
Kellie is survived by her loving family. Her mother Nancy Purcell-Komara (John), her father Mark Rokjer (Dorline), her brother Brett Rokjer (Vanessa), her fiancé Tony Florio, her grandfather Robert Rokjer and aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass celebrating Kellie's life will be held at Saint Joseph's Church in Greenfield, NY on Wednesday, August 18th at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kellie's honor to the ASPCA.
