LOUDONVILLE – Kenneth F. Heppelle, Sr., 79, passed away on Monday, March 06, 2006 at the Albany VA Hospital.
Kenneth was born on February 9, 1927 in Bennington, VT and was the son of the late Henry and Edna (Shepard) Heppelle. He served in the US Navy during WWII attaining the rank of Seaman First Class.
Kenneth was a sales expeditor for over 20 years before retiring from the R.D. Marshall and Company in Albany. He was a past president of the R.S.E.S. and a member of the VFW Post #1019 and the American Legion Joseph E. Zaloga Post #1520.
Kenneth was predeceased by his wife, Frances E. (Piela) Heppelle, his brothers, Norbert and Theodore Heppelle and his sisters, Dorothy Zaloga and Blanche Blazen.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Elizabeth F. (William) Sumner of Great Falls, MT, Kenneth F. (Diane) Heppelle, Jr. of Loudonville and Fran (Joseph) Addario of Colonie; his sister, Jeanette Clark of Schenectady; 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at New Comer- Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
