Kenneth J. Kessler Sr.
December 4, 1944 — January 14, 2023
Albany- Kenneth J. Kessler Sr. "KJ", 78, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, January 14, 2023. Born in Albany he was the son of the late Kenneth and Dorothy Kessler.
He worked for Yellow Taxi in Albany for 40 years as a dispatcher before his retirement. Ken was an animal lover and truly loved his late dog "Sniffy". He also loved playing all card games. Kenny was a fan of the NY Yankees and NY Giants. He also loved music, especially Cher and Celine Dion.
Ken is survived by his children, Tammy Loving (Gary), Kenneth J. Kessler, Jr., Steven Kessler (Kathleen), Michael Kessler, and Kimberly Nasca. He will be missed by his 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Ken is also survived by his sisters, Rose and Sharon.
Kenny was predeceased by his siblings, William, Marjorie, Robert, Judy and Annie.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 4pm-6:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A funeral service will begin at 6:30 pm.
