In addition to his love of the stock market, Ken was a talented artist who, early in life, chose to forgo a career in commercial art due to his mother's illness.

He was an excellent handball and racquetball player, and continued to play racquetball and exercise well into his seventies. Ken enjoyed hunting, as well as boating, swimming and water skiing on Lake George. During summer weekends, he could often be found piloting his boat through the Narrows and anchoring in Red Rock Bay.
Ken loved spending time with his family and close friends, as well as traveling to tropical and exotic locations. He was a devoted father who adored his children and left them with many happy memories. A strong athlete with a gentle touch, Ken brought joy into the lives of those around him. His strength, faith and zeal for life helped him overcome a battle with cancer in 1983.
During his retirement, he spent much of the winter with friends in Florida, dining out and watching sporting events. He will be remembered always for his easy-going nature, graciousness and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
