Kenneth C. Swart, 73, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at home with his family by his side. He was born on January 8th, 1949 in Catskill, New York, son of Clyde Swart and Doris D'Angelo Swart (Carnright).
He was general manager of Troy Ambulance for over 20 years and in his retirement drove school buses part-time for Durham School Services.
Kenneth enjoyed watching the Yankees and going to Cape Cod with his family. He also loved visiting his grandchildren in Florida.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved partner of 28 years, Miriam Dugan (Holbrook); his daughters, Stacy Alcuaz (Alan) and Stefanie Swart; stepsons Tim Dugan (Anne), Kevin Dugan (Ana); stepdaughters, Erin Dugan Rudd (Dave) and Meaghan Dugan (Ron Jojo); his pride-and-joy grandchildren, Grace Dugan, Conner Rudd, Ethan Rudd, Ava Alcuaz, Helen Dugan, Timothy Dugan, Jackson Gould, Ian Alcuaz, Rowan Gould, Olivia Dugan and Matteo Dugan; sisters-in-law, Helene Holbrook, Janice Holbrook Portanova; nieces and nephews, Ryan & Kelly Portanova, and Delaney Burke; great niece, Elora Burke Paul. He was predeceased by his father, Clyde Swart, mother, Doris Carnright, his sister, Linda Coblish, and his nephew Shane Portanova.
A private graveside service will be held at St. Patrick's Cemetery, 40 N. Jefferson Ave. Catskill, NY. 12414
