ROTTERDAM – Kenneth W. Sherman, Jr., 75, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Plattsburgh on October 3, 1936, he was the son of the late Kenneth W. and Annemarie (Gervais) Sherman, Sr.
Kenneth spent many wonderful hours sharing his life, love and experiences with his grandchildren. His passions were camping, bowling, and especially fishing with his grandkids. Kenneth's idea of living was "Family First." He kept with this belief always until his passing. Now he is at peace.
Along with his parents, Kenneth was predeceased by his wife, Doris Sherman and daughter, Dennise Marie Sherman.
He is survived by his sons, Kenneth W. Sherman, III and Michael (Janet) Sherman; grandchildren Raymond Pecci, Kassondra Sherman, Larissa Sherman, Michael Pastore, Devon Sherman, Anthony Gray, Kyle Pastore-Sherman and Hunter Sherman; sister Diane Rudolph; Aunt Dorothy Provost; nephew Richard Rudolph, III; nieces Cheryl Rudolph and Wendy Daunais, and many other nieces, nephews and family members.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Gabriel's Church, Rotterdam. Inurnment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211 in Kenneth's name.
