Colonie- Kevin A. Krouse, 40, passed away on Tuesday January 27, 2009 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Niskayuna and is the son of Russ and Wilma Krouse of Colonie. Kevin was owner and operator of his own landscaping business, K&K Land and Home. He was an avid outdoorsman. Kevin enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
Kevin was the devoted husband of Krystle (Nusser) Krouse and the loving father of Sam and Nathan Krouse. He is the brother of Marci (Kevin) Keppler of Guilderland; Jason (Sabrina) Krouse of Duanesburg and the late Lori Bassler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Monday morning 11:00 at Colonie Alliance Church, 32 Laphan Drive, Colonie. Calling hours will be Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00pm at New Comer-Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd.,. Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.) and Monday morning from 10 to 11 am at Colonie Alliance Church. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Berne in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mohawk & Hudson River Humane Society, Oakland Ave, Menands, NY 12204 in memory of Kevin A. Krouse.
