Albany- Kevin Leto, 41, passed away on Tuesday February 5, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Albany, the son of Sharon (Clifford) and the late Ronald C. Leto, Sr.
Kevin, also know as "Tiny" and "Biggles", was a lifelong capital district area resident. He worked in construction, as a heavy equipment operator, and was a member of the Local #106 Operating Engineers. Kevin enjoyed many outdoor activities including; camping, four-wheeling, Nascar, football and riding his motorcycle. But his true passion was spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed.
Kevin is survived by his wife, whom he has been with for 22 years, Dawn (Throneburg) Leto, children; Jason (Leto) Throneburg and his wife Sarah, James Stewart, Kevin Leto, Jr. and Anthony Leto, grandson Jayvin Throneburg, siblings; Ronald C. Leto, Jr., Brian K. Leto and Rosemarie Felix, nieces and nephews; Ronald Leto III, Samantha Leto, Gianni Leto Gabriella Leto, Juan Felix and Nina Felix. He is also survived by many cousins.
Funeral services will be held 10am Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155 south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be Friday 4:00 to 8:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery. At the request of the family and in lieu of flowers memorial contributions for Dawn and the children would be appreciated to Dawn Leto P O Box 14914, Albany, NY 12212
