Kevin M. Murray, Sr.

Albany- Kevin M. "Kash" Murray, Sr., 64, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 14, 2017 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland. The son of the late Marilyn (Linen) Iorio, Kevin was born on December 9, 1952 in Troy, NY. For many years, Kevin was a businessperson in the Albany area, owning flower shops and bars. Kevin married Mary Pat (Houghton) Murray, and together they settled in Guilderland and raised their family. His family meant the world to him. Kevin was a member of the Polish Community Center where he was an avid dart league member and enjoyed vacationing in Martha's Vineyard.
In addition to his mother, his loving wife Mary Pat predeceased Kevin. Kevin is survived by his children: Kevin M. Murray, Jr., Caitlin Murray and Dale Wildman; his grandson, Broderick Wildman; his loving sister Jerilyn (Peter LaClair) Sullivan; his brother-in-law Jerry Sullivan; his niece, Nicole Lynn Sullivan; his Aunt Faith and Uncle Bill Best; his cousins and partners-in-crime: Dennis Daley, Karen Obryan, Faith Thorne and Billy Best and several other extended family.
Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm on Tuesday, April 18 at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Wednesday, April 19 at St. Madeline Sophie Church, 3500 Carmen Road, Schenectady. Burial will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland.
