Kevin Sanders

ALBANY – Kevin Sanders, 54, on Friday, October 18, 2013 was taken to the home of the Lord.

Kevin was born on January 11, 1959 in Albany and was the son of the late Walter Ballou and Naomi (Morton) Sanders. He worked for the NYS Inspector General's Office in Albany for 25 years before retiring. Kevin was a loving brother and uncle to his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He was a fan of his nephew's baseball games and playing pinochle.

Kevin is survived by his loving sister and brother-in-law, Genevie and Eugene Bickley; his nephews, Marcus Bickley, Maurice (Christie) Bickley, Malcolm Bickley, and Manuel Bickley; his grandnephews, Nyzir Bickley and Isaiah Bickley; his grandniece, Faith Bickley and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Albany. A calling hour will precede the service at the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment Graceland Cemetery in Albany.

Kevin was an active member of Mt. Zion before taking ill; the family asks to have memorial contributions be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 86 Schuyler St., Albany, NY 12202 in memory of Kevin Sanders.
