Kimberly C. Denney-Jones

ALBANY - Kimberly C. Denney-Jones, 41, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at her home.
Kimberly was born on August 31, 1965 in Albany and is the daughter of Raymond F. and Charlene M. (Kemmer) Denney, Jr. She graduated from the Albany Memorial School of Nursing and worked at Albany Memorial Hospital for 18 years where her last position was hospital nursing supervisor. Most recently, she worked at New Visions as a residential nurse for the past 4½ years.
Kimberly was a devoted mother to her 4 year old son, Jason Frederick Jones. She was very gifted and talented in many ways including playing piano, singing, crocheting and baking for family and friends. She was always available to provide a helping hand to whoever needed it.
In addition to her parents and son, Kimberly is survived by her loving husband, Jason D. Jones; her brother, Raymond F. (Anne Marie) Denney III; her sister, Lynette H. Torres; her grandparents, Raymond and Marietta Denney, Sr. and N. Ann Everingham; her nieces, Christina, Deanna, Kayla, Olivia and Isabella; her nephew, Sebastian Torres; many aunts, uncles and cousins, especially her uncle, Dennis W. (Mimi) Denney and special friends, Karen, Angela and John Gelina. She was predeceased by her grandparents, John and Freda Kemmer and her brother-in-law, Adolfo Torres.
Funeral services will be 3 pm Saturday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Calling hours will be prior to the service from 12 to 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, an education fund has been set up through Bank of America for Jason and checks should be made payable to Jason F. Jones and mailed to Lynette Torres, 7 Heath Court, Niskayuna, NY 12309. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to www.newcomerfamily.com
