Albany – Kira Aldre, 81, a longtime Albany resident, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at the Albany County Nursing Home.
Kira was born on March 21, 1925 in Narva, Estonia and was the daughter of the late Karp and Elizabeth Mihailova Aldre.
Kira was an office worker at Dorn's Transportation in Albany. She enjoyed travel, music and dancing.
Kira is survived by her sister, Nina Aldre.
Burial will be held at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Nativity of the Mother of God, Russian Orthodox Church, abroad, 617 Sand Creek Road, Albany, NY 12205 in memory of Kira Aldre.
